Since we daydream about superpowers so much, we decided to visualise some of our leading divas in the garb of the most popular superwomen of all times and this is what we pictured…
Who: Storm
Her powers:She primarily holds the power to control the weather. She also possesses the "psionic" ability to control earthly and extraterrestrial ecosystems.
The actress: Kareena Kapoor.
Who better to the play the skilled and cunning Weather Witch than our blue-blooded Kareena? You can easily imagine her in hand-to-hand combat with her adversaries and pinning them down effortlessly just by her sheer will power. With her size zero frame, she's bound to waft in the winds without using any super power!
Who: Catwoman
Her powers:Agility and speed. She also has a custom cat-themed car called the "Cat-illac" and her weapon is a whip.
The actress: Bipasha Basu we say is the purrrr-fect choice.
Only she can nail the role of revenge-bent babe dressed in a cat suit who seduces both Bruce Wayne and Batman. Say what?
Who: Poison Ivy
Her powers: She is immune to all poisons and viruses. Her body produces pheromones that make people susceptible to mind control.
The actress: Aishwarya Rai.
Ivy has the ability to seduce any man to her will, be it Batman or Superman. And doesn't Ash have the history of doing the same, that too in real life? Just like Ivy, she is stunning and alluring and the world does wonder what kind of love potion does this mistress of spice give to the men in her life that they fall for her hook, line and sinker?
Who: Elektra
Her powers: Elektra has a strong knowledge of martial arts and weaponry particularly Ninjutsu. Her abilities also include low-level mind control and telepathic communication.
The actress: Priyanka Chopra.
Don and Drona proved that this girl can kick ass. She is one of the fittest actresses in town and if anyone can portray the agility and dexterity of Elektra, it’s her. Plus she has jumped from one man to the next with the same agility she has shown in her gravity-defying filmi moves. Need we say more?
Who: Wonderwoman
Her powers: She can FLY. She also has the ability talk to animals. And she has a Magic Lasso (or Golden Lasso) that forces anyone it captures to OBEY and tell the truth.
*The actress:* We thought of Shilpa Shetty, Preity Zinta, Katrina Kaif and even Kajol but for some reason Hema Malini crept in our mind and somehow she as Wonderwoman felt apt.
Her whip wielding Basanti character in Sholay was no less an ability than the bullet deflecting Wonderwoman, wouldn't you agree?
So hailing the ball of femme fatales, you too unleash your inner Diva and let us know which superheroine or which superpower you would like to have?
